BANKS – Beggin for Thread (Salva Remix)
If it weren’t for BANKS‘ familiar voice, it would be hard to guess that this Salva production is a remix of her popular track, “Beggin for Thread.” While the female songstress and producer boasts a sultry sound that many other producers can’t resist reworking, Salva creates a rhythm that diverts as far away from the original as one could possibly get, save for her angelic voice. A hearty rework that eliminates the song’s original spectral nature and instead infuses it with a synthesized energy, the LA producer has no reservations in this remix. He blows up the back beat with pads and gritty overlays that remind us of his rap background, ultimately developing the song into a more trap worthy remake.
