The Bixel Boys are quickly establishing themselves as a real force to be reckoned with, as they push a groovy, deep brand of infectious house music. From remixing Kiesza to Theophilus London, the pair can bend their sound around nearly anything. The Los Angeles-based duo’s next undertaking is a sharp rendition of Dada Life‘s stomping electro cut “Freaks Have More Fun,” warping the abrasive original into a bumping club-ready roof-raiser.

Swapping out Dada’s consistently boisterous, commanding big-room appeal for their own version of refreshingly aggressive future house, the Boys put together a jostling remix that reflects the pair’s evident creative abilities. Although the preview is short, the whirling synth layers come together to make for an enticing take on underground footwork funk. The pair offer a preview to another dominating remix as they continue to expand their sound and tighten their skills, officially putting their breakout year in the rear view and moving into 2015 on a roll.
