Deorro brings the bounce with new ‘Boombox’ EP
Earlier this year, Deorro created quite the commotion with his announcement that he would be “quitting DJing” to focus on producing more music, developing his PandFunk brand, and spending time with his family. Before the new year rings in, Deorro wanted to give one more gift to his PandaFunk family with the release of his Boombox EP.
The first of two tracks, “Stopping Us,” begins with a melodically driven progressive sequence until the LA producer unleashes two bounce-drenched big room drops. Deorro teams up with fellow SoCal friend, D!rty Aud!o, for “Hit It” where the duo lay down a tasteful mix of rave-ready electro house, trap, and fresh vocal flow from Ie-z. Although he may be taking a break from the festival circuit, we can’t help but be excited for the music Deorro unleash in 2015.
