Los Angeles-based newcomer, Bobby Nourmand has reached back into the hallowed halls of music iconography and resurrected The Doors’ “Peace Frog.” Warping Jim Morrison’s already dark and dreary vocals, Nourmand installs a macabre deep house bass line under the rock poet’s original refrains. A top notch spin on one of the most classic tracks of the 60s, “Peace Frog’s” modern-day rework is fitting for warehouse haunts and afterhours dance floors.
