Gorgon City ready to return to studio for second album
The end of 2014 welcomed Gorgon City’s release of their debut album, Sirens, and an official tour — usually, a period busy enough to bookend any artist’s year for several months to come. With merely a matter of days after their album release, however, the UK duo are already planning for the next step ahead: “[We] are always making new music when we’re on the road,” Matt recently told BANG Showbiz. “We’ve got ideas that we’ve been working on already for the second album.”
Ready to step off the tour bus and head back into the studio, the two are planning to begin writing and “working with new people” in December. Following their “Go All Night” collaboration with Jennifer Hudson, the two explain: “We’re always looking for new vocalists, and undiscovered people which is why there are a lot of people like that on the album, people who you might not know yet, so we’re always looking for new people.” Already, the two have alluded that “Ready for Your Love” collaborator MNEK will reappear on coming works, but the rest remains to be seen.
