Couple months back, the Interns surfaced onto the Internet with the launch of their mixtape series, “The Interns Present.” In the spirit of the holidays, the LA-based duo release their next installment of the series, “Black Christmas.” Contrary to the cheery nature of the holidays though, Colby J. and Tōks string together an hour of deep and brooding underground tracks that kept dance-floors moving all throughout 2014. No matter if you like tech, melodic, or even jazz-infused house, the Interns provide a versatile arrangement of tracks that will go hand-in-hand with a late-night fire.
