The creativity that spawns from Monstercat never ceases to amaze. As a record label, the Canadian imprint continues to showcase some of the most talented producers across various genres. They recently released their 20th artist compilation, Altitude, but that hasn’t stopped them from releasing new music right up until the end of the year. A veteran of the label, Laszlo, releases his latest genre-bending/minimal/trance original, “Messiah,” that sends your eardrums for a serious trip. Exploring a myriad of sounds and styles, Laszlo begins the journey with an aggressive minimal lead that immediately puts your mind into a entrancing whirlwind. Next, a distorted voice comes in to segway into another minimal pattern that is accented with light and playful synths along with a Middle-Eastern guitar. Laszlo exhibits his diversification capabilities as an artist within the span of four minutes with “Messiah.”
