Oliver Heldens officially releases ‘Last All Night (Koala)’ + remix package
Just a few months ago, future house superstar Oliver Heldens debuted his crossover single “Last All Night (Koala)” featuring the hooking vocals of KStewart that peaked at #2 on UK Charts. After recently earning a spot in Rolling Stone’s “10 Artists You Need To Know: November 2014” and taking over BBC Radio 1’s Essential Mix this past Saturday, Oliver Heldens now officially has released his smash hit on iTunes via Pete Tong’s FFRR imprint as well as a massive remix package. Happy Early Christmas future house fans.
The 19-year-old Dutch producer wrangled up a team consisting of Toyboy & Robin, LOW STEPPA, TC4, and Reso to reimagine his radio-crushing single. LOW STEPPA and TC4 deliver their own separate deep and tech-house fusion remixes that yield two hypnotizing club reworks, while Toyboy & Robin blend the groovy, bass nature of the original with a slew of light, tropical elements. Reso presents the wild card of the pack showcasing a total drum-n-bass flip of KStewart’s vocals and Oliver’s crisp melodies. About this time last year, Oliver Heldens debuted his forward-thinking sound to the world with “Gecko,” and if this year was any indication of how much this producer can accomplish in a short amount of time, we can only expect massive moves to be made by the Dutch superstar in the coming year.
