On the heels of releasing ‘You’re On,’ Madeon announces debut album title, ‘Adventure’
Young French talent Madeon has been causing quite a stir with his two most recent releases. It wasn’t until two days ago that the 20-year-old re-surfaced into the limelight with BBC Radio 1 track of the day, “You’re On.” After much speculation surrounding his debut album, which was initially announced to MTV in November 2013, Madeon has taken to social media to announce the title of his hotly anticipated project – Adventure.
“It’s a nice toe in the water to see what the other side of the world beyond electronic music is like, ’cause ultimately I just want to do an album that people listen to at home and enjoy, not just in the club,” Madeon told MTV last Fall. Evidently, his first full-length undertaking will explore a range of depths in electronic music and hopes to both inspire and surprise listeners.
Adventure will be released in 2015 and while a label has not been announced, popcultur and Columbia records appear to be fair game.
