Afrojack gets personal with Forbes

Though Forbes and EDM often don’t have much in common, their latest series of interviews for 30 Under 30 has taken a turn towards the genre. Last week, Afrojack took to his Rolls-Royce Ghost for an interview with the publication. At 27-years-old, the Dutch star runs his own record label and maintains a consistent yearly status as one of the top 10 DJs in the world according to DJ Mag.

In a lightning round of questions with the prominent business magazine, Afrojack tells Forbes that his bedtime is often between 7 and 8 am. He believes “perseverance” is the single best word to describe his rise to celebrity stardom, and tells the magazine that he grew up with “everything except money, raised by a single mom.” After grossing $22 million last year, it’s no wonder why Nick van de Wall was able to afford his fancy car, plus the Ferrari 458 and Audi RS6 he keeps at home in his garage.
