To ignore an AUS Music B-side is a truly sacrilegious practice, especially when UK house kingpin Huxley is on the case. With his latest “I Want You” set in motion and accompanied by stunning remix duties from Youandewan, the gem of this four-track follow-up to S-Man collaboration “The Machine” comes right at the end. A series of chugging grooves and murky bass maneuvers staggered conservatively through an injection of piano hits, whirring effects and murmured samples, “Sphere” cuts into the deeper and darker remits of the British heavyweight and his unique command of the underground house sound scope. His dealings with AUS remain a match made in heaven and with the final quarter of 2014 now upon us, no one can accuse Huxley of hitting anything short of his A-game throughout the year.
