Forbes releases ’30 Under 30′ in music list
Today, Forbes released a music edition of its famed ’30 under 30′ lists, containing artists, producers, managers and event founders from across the industry spectrum. The judges were Atom Factory founder Troy Carter, musician Taylor Hanson and Universal Music Publishing CEO Jody Gerson. Most of this year’s class call New York City and San Francisco home, and when asked to summarize their “road to success” in one word, they gave answers like ‘passion’, ‘family’, ‘persistence’, ‘drive’, and ‘luck.’ In terms of dance music, Afrojack, Martin Garrix and Porter Robinson notably made appearances, as did Life in Color CEO Sebastian Solano.
