Kastle – Strange Days (Original Mix)
November’s “Hyperspace” alongside AMTRAC set a positive tip for LA heavyweight Kastle moving into the New Year. With his Hyperreality EP just around the corner and a stacked out North American tour to kick start the first quarter, the melancholic bass commander is setting the tone early on with the short-player’s inaugural offering. Sampling from Omarion’s “Ice Box” and hitting an eerie medium between neo garage, trap and bass-laden house music, “Strange Days” shows the unpredictable talent on more Herculean form than ever before. 2014 was good year for Kastle, but the earliest signs point to Hyperreality being a luminary instalment for the next generation leader of intuitive bass music for 2015.
