Dance music endured a period of time where genre-restrictions ruled far and wide and producers were typecast into defined categories and styles. Finally as 2015 kicks off, it seems that droll period in dance music’s global evolution may finally be over. Case and point: the unlikely pairing of dutch future-house breakthrough artist Oliver Heldens and Canadian bass masters Zeds Dead on their new collaboration, “You Know.”

Zeds Dead have continually proven to be a versatile production outfit, despite having fallen into their own wrongful stereotypes in the past. Their style is always unpredictably fresh, as they follow up their first deep-end bout “Lost You” alongside D’Angelo Lacy with a brand new collaboration alongside Heldens.

Fans who have recently caught Oliver Heldens or Zeds Dead live have likely heard snippets of the groovy house cut, and now with its first preview available, the track’s official release on Spinnin Records is presumably just around the corner.
