If you haven’t heard of Oshi yet, his latest work is about to put him on your radar. The young emerging artist is establishing a name for himself with his deep brand of pitch-bending, down-tempo chillwave soundscapes. London’s own 16-year-old London has put together an experimental new tune called “i <3 u,” which brilliantly defines how we will come to understand this up-and-coming phenom.

“i<3 u” is deep and introspective, playing upon wiry synth layers and pumping drum kicks, accentuated by tightly wound hi-hat rolls. Soothing piano keystrokes and echoing vocal samples drive the tune onward. Melding chillwave, jersey club, and future trap inspirations together into a category of his own, Oshi is pushing a unique sound that proves this emerging producer will be a force to be reckoned with.
