Red Rocks, New Rules: Colorado Amphitheater looks to tame noise complaints

If there is one venue every music fan knows in Colorado, it is the esteemed Red Rocks Amphitheater. Every year, the music venue takes its list of artists to the next level to increase it’s infinitely-growing name. 2015 may prove to be one it’s largest challenges though as Denver officials have imposed new rules for all artist contracts for the upcoming year.

The town of Morrison, CO, lies right next to the amphitheater and has brought forth their complaints of noise and bass reverberation to the local government. In 2015, the changes for Red Rocks will revolve around sound levels and performance times. The most drastic of such being that noise limit rules that were imposed in 2014 will no longer just apply to late night performances but performances in general.

The question most fans of the legendary venue are asking is: will this change the magical experiences that happen in the Colorado mountains? You can check out the full list of changes and the Denver resident’s concerns in the article from the Denver Post.
