Avicii to debut new music and visuals at Future Music Festival

After a hiatus due to lingering health concerns, Avicii has returned to the touring circuit bigger and better than ever. The Swedish producer chatted with InTheMix recently to discuss his upcoming stint on the Future Music Festival tour, revealing that not only would he be debuting tons of new music but that he’s also bringing an entirely new set of visuals along for the ride. The platform for the unveiling? Future Music Festival’s new main stage — a massive installation dubbed The Supernova designed by James Klein (who just happens to be the same guy who designed Ultra 2013’s incredible stage).

For Australian Avicii fans, Tim’s Future Music Festival performance is a can’t miss moment. It will be the first place that music from his new album will be debuted — and there’s a ton of it.

“There’s a lot of different collaborators…there’s like 60 people that I collaborated with. I took a break for six months and there’s a lot of stuff from the last six months that I haven’t even played yet, which I’m excited and nervous about.”
