Breaking Bad’s RJ Mitte readies to debut his DJ career in New York
Fans of Breaking Bad will recognize actor RJ Mitte as Walter Jr. or Flynn, son of Heisenberg and known for his breakfast eating tendencies. Though Mitte has already confirmed that he will not be joining the forthcoming spin-off series Better Call Saul, it seems as though the Louisiana born actor has discovered a new calling in entertainment performance.
In November of 2013, Mitte first hinted at his interest in music in a brief interview with Digital Spy. “I’m learning guitar, I’m learning piano,” Mitte, who is also diagnosed with cerebral palsy in real life, said. “I have a bit of an issue as I only have one good hand and one good ear […] I love music. My house is constantly filled with music – from vinyl to the thousands and thousands of song on my hard drive.”
Mitte’s dabbling with his aforementioned “thousands and thousands of songs” seem to have been successful as the actor-gone-DJ prepares for his debut at Good Looks New York in April. Tickets to the show are available here.
