Catz ‘N Dogz release first single from forthcoming experimental album, ‘Basic Colour Theory’
Polish outfit Catz ‘N Dogz have finally emerged from the studio with the completion of their third album, Basic Colour Theory. The enlisted a host of guest vocalists as contributors to the album, most notably among them Detroit-based rapper Phat Kat, vocalist Egle Sirvydyte and house music legend Green Velvet. To kickstart the build-up leading to the May release, Catz ‘N Dogz have released the first single, “Good Touch,” a delicate and sultry tune that features hushed vocals by Sirvdyte cushioned by Catz ‘N Dogz’ signature steady bass line. According to the duo’s SoundCloud page, fans can expect more expressive vocals and melodies that go deep across the experimental album’s fifteen tracks. “It’s our third album and we did a lot of research, preparation, reading, watching documentaries about the music scene, people and looking for inspirations everywhere,” the duo said in regards to the inspiration behind the album.
Basic Colour Theory marks Catz ‘N Dogz first full-length album release via their own Pets Recordings and will be out on May 19.
