DA Exclusive: Get down with Gorgon City’s set from Holy Ship
Feelings of envy are finally dying down for everyone who was stuck inland while HARD‘s sea-bound shakedown, Holy Ship, set sail last month… just in time for mid-February’s second sailing. With HARD taking their second cruise of the year later this month, the celebration will continue aboard the MSC Divina, bringing the most in-demand performers and producers along for the ride. In the meantime, to give fans an inside look at what Holy Ship is all about, we are bringing you back to the boat to relive Gorgon City‘s set from the B&W Lounge.
The “Go All Night” producers threw down a grooving affair aboard the boat last month, bringing their distinct brand of UK bass to the decks. Keeping feet moving the entire time, the duo delivered a pristine set packed full of wobbly, funky dance floor-primed house music. The London-bred duo announced Annie Mac, Dusky, and Kidnap Kid‘s presence towards the end of the set, bringing the listener right into the lounge for the full effect. The set is clearly marked by energetic intimacy: an experience that Holy Ship delivers like few other festivals can.
