Flume nominated for Best Dance Work at 2015 APRA Music Awards

Flume and fellow Australian Chet Faker are being recognized by the 2015 APRA Music Awards for their Future Classic collaboration “Drop the Game.” The award ceremony, established in 1982, is one of the Australian music industry’s most prestigious events, created in an attempt to celebrate songwriting in the Australian music industry. Flume and Chet Faker’s 2013 hit “Drop the Game,” did well to put both talents on the map and is now finally being recognized in the category for “Best Dance Work” at this year’s awards. Although the track’s been floating around since late 2012, the nomination is well-earned for both Flume and Faker. The duo are up against Peking Duck, Neon Jungle, Joel Fletcher and The Aston Shuffle.
