Jubilee is many things: the world’s biggest Pitbull devotee, a flamingo and iguana obsessive, and a loyal Miami Heat fan to name a few. But before all else, she’s an awe-inspiring DJ and an endlessly versatile producer.
The latter is evident on “Explosion,” her most recent song; though the track is powered by its Miami-style 808s, Jubilee clearly draws on influences from years of playing all types of club music all over the world. And “Explosion” lives up to its name: her expert juxtaposition of percussive elements makes the track absolutely explosive.
The combination of the song’s uniqueness and intensity make it totally captivating, and it just may be Jubilee’s best track to date.
