Martin Garrix, Calvin Harris, Naughty Boy and Mr. Probz nominated for iHeartRadio’s ‘Dance Song of the Year’

The iHeartRadio Music Awards is still in its youth, but has shown hints of maturity as it inches toward its second annual affair. Scheduled to be held on March 29th at LA’s Shrine Auditorium, the celebration will honor the most coveted artists and songs played on iHeartMedia throughout 2014. Last year, Avicii represented the electronic music community as he took home a trophy for ‘EDM Song of the Year’ with “Wake Me Up.”

This year the number of dance music affiliates seem to be scant, but IHeartRadio did catch on to the more politically correct term, “dance music,” as opposed to “EDM.” 2015’s nominees for ‘Dance Song of the Year’ include Martin Garrix (“Animals), Calvin Harris (“Summer”), Naughty Boy and Sam Smith (“La La La”), Calvin Harris (“Summer”) and Mr. Probz (“Waves”).
