ODESZA remixes RAC’s ‘We Belong’ with flying colors
Off his first artist album from 2014, “We Belong” quickly became a favorite among fans of RAC. Featuring Katie Herzig, the tune was infectious, warm and beautifully provocative. Now, Seattle electronic music duo ODESZA take on the track, lending their own special touch to its glimmering synths and summery warmth. It’s not the first time ODESZA has lent their remixing skills to something by RAC or vice versa, but it’s definitely a stand-out work in its own right. Taking the tune from indie electronic to a more danceable sound, the remix is an ethereal, gently bouncing groove-driven rework that bubbles along with that same soft-edged, rose-tinted nostalgic vibe that listeners came to love so much about the original track.
