Robot Heart announces new festival, Further Future
You can’t mention Burning Man without bringing up its iconic techno culture, the epicenter of which is Robot Heart: a music-driven camp that attracts the biggest names of the underground year in, year out. Now the collective is launching its own festival, Further Future, set to take place in Las Vegas from May 1-3. With the first wave of its lineup recently announced, the festival is bringing a truly diverse cast of DJs, producers, and revelers to the desert. While names like Thugfucker, Monkey Safari, Henry Saiz and John Tejada immediately jump out on the dancier side of things, the lineup is not without its fair share of experimental electronica in the form of Hundred Waters, Nosaj Thing, Pulshar and more.
Though there isn’t much detail to as to the precise location of the venue yet, the organizers of Further Future have assured “wide open spaces, utilizing mobile infrastructure and embracing our natural environment,” according to Resident Advisor. Further details on the festival, including a second wave of artists, are still under wraps.
