Watch Axwell /\ Ingrosso’s music video for ‘Something New’
One might recall the first time Axwell /\ Ingrosso‘s “Something New” went public in November 2014, when it was used as the soundtrack to Beats by Dre’s infamous commercial featuring Kendall and Kylie Jenner and Nicki Minaj, to name a few. Shortly thereafter, the record went on to be fully premiered by Zane Lowe on BBC Radio 1 as “The Hottest Record In The World.”
Fast-forward three months, and the pair depict “Something New” with fewer celebrities and in a more natural setting. The official video, directed by Ian & Cooper, takes viewers down a seemingly infinite road encompassed by mountains, rugged terrain and a scintillating sunset. Both donning the Axwell /\ Ingrosso logo on the back of their jackets, the duo dash forward upon motorcycles while a series of cars sit stationary in a traffic jam, singing along to the song’s lyrics.
