Watch This: Tiësto accepts his first Grammy

After nearly 20 years as one of the pre-eminent figures in electronic dance music, Tiësto finally earns his first Grammy win. The iconic producer was honored by the Recording Academy on Sunday evening for his work on John Legend’s “All of Me (Tiësto’s Birthday Treatment Remix).” Although not aired during the Grammys official broadcast, Tiësto’s acceptance speech recalls the birth of the remix (he gave it away unofficially without John Legend’s permission) and shows a humble and human side to the larger-than-life Tijs, who thanks Team Tiësto for his long overdue recognition.
