Years & Years – King (The Magician Remix)
“Sunlight,” last spring’s collaboration between The Magician and Olly from Years & Years, was one of 2014’s most animated and enjoyable songs. Now they’re working together again, this time with the disco and house hero taking on Years & Years’ next single, “King.” The remix features everything we’ve come to expect from The Magician: clever use of the original’s vocals, a polished overall sound, and the unparalleled infectiousness that makes each of his tracks so breathtaking. Given the brilliance of both “King (The Magician Remix)” and “Sunlight,” it’s easy to see that Years & Years and The Magician are a match made in heaven; let’s hope that these two collaborations are only the beginning.
King will be out March 1st on Polydor. The release will also feature remixes by TCTS and Oceaán.
