Eelke Kleijn is just as comfortable crafting club-ready techno as he is uplifting deep house. His latest falls under the latter category with a bit of ’80s nostalgia thrown in to give it a sentimental edge. Having composed music for games, films, and advertisements, Kleijn’s cinematic touch is readily apparent on new single “Celebrate Life.” The track has already earned Pete Tong’s coveted approval, receiving both a world premiere on his show and having been named his Essential New Tune of the week. Following recent releases on Suara and Toolroom Trax, Eelke’s latest will land on Spinnin’ Deep next month.
