Where December’s Space Disco EP saw the Rotterdam native inaugurated to Toolroom’s underground sect with a double-sided offering of the highest calibre, Toolroom Live 02 sees Kleijn take the reins of the label’s second concept instalment alongside both Prok & Fitch and Boris with brand new material at the ready.
Dialled back tech house meets eerie progressive hallmarks for ‘Oranje Liefde,’ using steady grooves and rising melodic moments to create something of an epic where instrumental club records are concerned. It’s proof that the Dutch circuit still has plenty of life left to flaunt past the big room game, not to mention more positive fuel to Toolroom’s recent reconfiguration as an international house stronghold.
