Just over a month since winning Galantis‘ “Runaway (U & I)” remix contest, LBCK are back with another funky interpretation of a hit song. This time the Long Beach duo take on Los Angeles native Montell Jordan‘s “This Is How We Do It,” which topped the Billboard Hot 100 in 1995. Updating a classic is always a tall task, but LBCK are more than up to the challenge: their edits are minimal enough that the song maintains its timeless vibe, but they do enough to give it a decidedly contemporary feel.
