Skrillex premieres new NGHTMRE track during Ultra Music Festival
Did you happen to catch Skrillex’s closing set from Ultra? The entire internet is still abuzz with everyone trying to wrap their head around Diddy’s cameo during a dose of surprise Jack Ü action. There is a lot more to be said about one of Sonny’s best outings to date, however — mainly the unidentified hell-raiser that opened up the live stream.
When fans all across the world tuned in to Skrillex’s set on Ultra’s live broadcast, OWSLA’s head-honcho was 10 minutes into his set, already deafening a massive crowd. Transitioning from Snails and Antisertum‘s gritty hit “Wild,” Sonny unleashed NGHTMRE‘s latest track — the only new ID the night’s headliner would play his entire set. Just as the live stream kicked in, fans were thrown right into the unidentified track: a thundering trap selection marked by a sinister, dark flair — a style that NGHTMRE is clear establishing an affinity for.
Little is known about the tune, with no official name let alone release date in sight.
Skrillex premiering the new material for the young up-and-coming production force comes at the perfect time as NGHTMRE prepares to embark on his first official run of shows, spanning between North America and Australia.
