Relive Skrillex’s Ultra 2015 closing set featuring a huge cast of supporters
Last year, after weeks of hype leading up to the performance, Skrillex and Diplo officially debuted their world-dominating partnership, Jack Ü, on Ultra’s main stage. This year, Ultra brought one half of the super group back for a headlining set, as Skrillex took to the decks Sunday night to close out the entire festival. What happened next couldn’t have been expected, and no amount of hype could prepare fans for what the OWSLA head had in store.
Bringing out a cast of guest stars nearly as deep as his SuperJam set at last year’s Bonnaroo, Sonny pulled out all the stops to cap off Ultra 2015. From performing Diddy’s greatest jam, “Bad Boys For Life,” alongside the Bad Boy mogul, to bringing K-Pop sensation CL out to spit live on “Dirty Vibe,” Skrillex was joined by a slew of music industry giants.
When Diplo finally joined Skrillex onstage, their previous set from 2014 seemed almost trivial in comparison to the grandeur that the two titans brought to the main stage their second time around. From support by Justin Bieber, Kai and Kiesza, and many others, Skrillex was in rare form at Ultra’s main stage, and now you can relive the set over and over again.
