Alison Wonderland showcases her versatility on debut album

The Aussie DJ/producer/ singer introduced the world to her eclectic mixture of futuristic elements and pop with her first EP Calm Down, but now the artist from down under demonstrates her versatility like we’ve never seen before.
Tracks like “Back It Up” with AWE fire raw emotion in every direction via its scraping analog synths and shattering drums, while pop-tinged tunes like “Games” could be potential candidates for radio crossover. But, across the 12 track lineup, the unmistakable spectacle of this album is the list of collaborators the DJ/songstress tapped for her debut. From fellow future beat wizards Lido, AWE, SAFIA, Slumberjack, and GANZ to the slick rap talents of Johnny Nelson to the sultry crooner Brave, Alison Wonderland could have made an impressive solo album able to stand on its own if she wanted to, but why not collaborate with some of the most forward-thinking producers out there when you can?
