Open Air NY kicks off Governors Island season with Boris, Steve Lawler and more

New York City’s live music landscape does a 180 come summer. More than the normal round of nightclubs and few larger venues to host artists, the outdoors become free reign. As routine, Governors Island is the destination to see DJs under the sun all season long, and it is about ready to finally reopen.
The first announcement for Governors Island comes as Open Air NY. Powered by Space Ibiza NY, the event is centered around Believe with Boris and Steve Lawler with support from The Junkies. Governors Island’s Open Air NY kick off will take place on May 16th as parties will continue all summer and through September.
