Skrillex featured on the May cover of WIRED Magazine with interactive digital effects panel

It is safe to say Skrillex has taken over the world. From the cover of Rolling Stone and six Grammy Awards under his belt, to headlining the world’s most in-demand festivals and shows, Skrillex is everywhere. The latest place that the king of bass music’s face has turned up is the cover of WIRED Magazine’s May edition, along with a special interactive feature on the magazine’s digital cover for all the bedroom DJs holding it down out there.

WIRED has created an animated audio effects panel that readers can swipe onto the cover, giving users access to a small XY pad that they can use to place different effects over tracks in real time. With a High Pass Filter, Delay, Peak Filter, Phaser, pitch-control slider, and an color-coded frequency meter at their disposal, fans can do their best impressions of Sonny, tuning in effects over a handful of pre-loaded tracks. All from the cover of the magazine.

In a day where branding is everything, where artists and fans can interact as effortlessly as ever, Skrillex continues to make waves, this time from WIRED’s May edition front cover.
