The Prodigy earn their 6th consecutive number 1 with ‘The Day Is My Enemy’

The Prodigy made history this week, becoming the first band to achieve six consecutive independently released studio albums at number 1 in the UK. Their latest full-length work, The Day Is My Enemy, earned the coveted spot on Sunday, as reported by Billboard, cementing their anarchic revival in place. With all the sound and fury of previous endeavors, the album proved that the band haven’t lost their panache nor their ability to stir things up. The Day Is My Enemy follows Invaders Must Die, which earned a similar position atop the charts six years ago. With the new LP successfully making the rounds, the group will now move onto the next phase of their campaign: a 10-date UK tour in May.
