Tove Lo – Talking Body (Panic City Remix)
Panic City throws big house keys into the most unlikely of places. With a discography of cuts for Dim Mak and a past tendency to favor the low end frequencies that includes an array of mixed club gems is channeling his house demons for Tove Lo’s latest remix package. Seamlessly executed with an emphasis on smooth piano intermissions, the North American breakout goes to town on the modern house sound for his re-interpretation of ‘Talking Body,’ punching a higher caliber of club play than many of the genre’s modern stalwarts. Say what you will about an artist who can jump from heavyset festival offerings to traditionally cut house records, but Panic City’s consistent delivery and genre-bending stance is as refreshing as it is digestible on a truly universal level.
