New York’s Chachi returns to production duties for a rousing rework of Dirty South’s “With You.” While the original predicated itself on powerful melodies and its melancholic top line, Chachi swaps out the engine block for something with a hell of a lot more horsepower. Utilizing an almost invasive nu-deep bass line compared to the original’s floaty synths and FMLYBND’s slow-moving vocals, “With You’s” re-imagination is as high energy and unapologetic as the New York scene where the promising talent calls home.
