JOYRYDE – FLO (Original Mix)
UK newcomer JOYRYDE remembers a time when there was an element of chaos to the European house output, but is taking it up a notch for his latest original. The Epsom producer uses his latest genre-defying cut to make it loud and clear that at a time of radio-safe club maneuvers, his is a brand out for blood.
‘Flo’ is the kind of disjointed club cut that sub-woofers were made for, fusing traditional house hallmarks and wobbling lead work for an unpredictable spin of frantic house music. There’s a cheeky nod trap and some expertly dropped sample work to sweeten the deal, but JOYRYDE’s charm comes in taking the comfortable genre back into chaotic pastures, and we hope he doesn’t stop here.
