Live Nation enlists Uber for new partnership for EDC Las Vegas, HARD and more

You may have noticed several notable DJs campaigning via Twitter in support of Uber to be approved for Las Vegas in preparation for EDC Las Vegas. Live Nation and the popular on-demand ride service announced a full-fledged partnership for more than a handful of upcoming Live Nation shows. With over 62 Live Nation-owned venues as well as 20 festivals already enlisted, Uber will now receive designated drop-off and pick-up zones for attendees looking to skirt traffic and driving hassles.

The official statement on Uber’s website adds that the service will soon be API-integrated into the Live Nation app, making it easy and automatic to find the right address and further make the pick up process smoother. The partnership will kick off at EDC New York later this month and extend to Sasquatch in Washington, HARD Summer and Day of the Dead in Los Angeles, as well as Nocturnal, Beyond Wonderland, Escape: All Hallows’ Eve and White Wonderland in the Southern California area. Additionally, EDC Las Vegas has already been added as one of the festivals to expect Uber presence ahead of the official vote.
