Benzi and eSentrik have been at it together for over two years, dropping rump-shaking bass cuts together as TWRK. Now, via Mad Decent, TWRK are looking to make things official, cementing their reputation as the leaders of the back-popping dance sensation with the release of their debut EP, We Are TWRK. Formally introducing themselves behind the release, the duo offer up a four-track collection that not only perfectly describes their sound, but will likely have you twerking against the nearest wall you can find.

One upping their biggest track to date, “Badinga” with the EP’s leading number, “Helicopter,” Benzi and eSentrik make it clear they mean business, and twerking is no joking matter. Enlisting Nola mainstay Fly Boi Keno, Lambo, Dougie F, The Rej3ctz, and San Holo, TWRK round up a wide cast of collaborators to help push their party-primed sound on their lead off EP. “Spring Break” makes its way onto the short release, bringing everyone back to the beginning of beach season a few months ago, while “Dump It” finds TWRK refining their sound in a bold new way, injecting a notable complexity to the track’s chords, seldom found on most of their other cuts.

TWRK have been here for a while, but with the release of We Are TWRK, its clear that the pair aren’t going anywhere soon.
