Bassnectar is organizing the largest gathering of bass heads yet for Electric Forest
Few other DJs can boast a community as strong as Bassnectar’s fan-base. ‘Bass heads,’ as they’re collectively known, are some of the most dedicated followers around: they arrive early to shows, sport ‘nectar gear every chance they get, and have a very active presence online. If there was to be an annual hub of bass heads — aside from Lorin Ashton’s yearly appearances at Red Rocks of course — Electric Forest may very well be it. Not only is Bassnectar one of the most consistently booked headliners for the Michigan festival, he never fails to draw the largest crowds. Fittingly, Ashton’s crew is organizing one of the largest gatherings of bass heads in history for the weekend. The official “Bass Camp” will serve as a meeting point and headquarters for his fans over the course of the 4-day festival. According to Lorin’s team, the camp will feature “Ambassador projects, renegade dance parties, community building, chill zones, and lots of fellow bass heads.”
