The Chainsmokers’ new music only gets better — just listen to ‘Roses’
The Chainsmokers have been releasing single after single after single. 2015 is shaping up to be their most packed year yet in the post-“Selfie” world. Following originals “Good Intentions” and “Let You Go,” the NYC-based duo have dropped their latest song and it looks to be their best single of the year.
“Roses” strikes with the expected delicate nature its title would suggest, but comes juxtaposed by an edginess opposite of such imagery. Featuring Rozes — not to be confused with the track’s namesake — “Roses” is complete with vocals that fall between a unique, ahead-of-the-curve electronic production and the f*cked up garden that one may visualize it as.
