Dirtybird Campout announces location and first wave of artists
The details regarding Dirtybird’s new camping festival are sparse — in fact, until earlier this week, all we knew were the dates — but really, what more do you need to know than the fact that Claude VonStroke and friends will be hosting a non-stop party for three days straight? Notoriously one of the most fun-loving crews around, we can’t imagine it being anything less than spectacular.
To ease our intrigue, Dirtybird has announced some important details: firstly, the festival will take place in Southern California; secondly, it will feature the label’s top roster of talent, with Claude VonStroke, Justin Martin, J.Phlip, Kill Frenzy and Justin Jay slated to perform.
Beyond that, we’ve also gathered some fun information, including the fact that Claude VonStroke and Justin Martin will serve as “camp counselors” for attendees and the weekend will consist of “late night s’mores, awkward games of spin the bottle, tug of war, and rump-shaking tunes out in the woods of SoCal,” according to the official press release.
Pre-sale for Dirtybird Campout begins July 10.
