For Irish songman Gavin James, the man behind an array of softer club gems takes things up a notch, bringing that stripped back sound into the popular sound scope with seamless ease. Packing just enough of a kick to keep things club compatible, this gentle remix plays off James’s standout vocal assets with light percussive stamina and a focus on harrowing melodic sequences. Electronic music is reaching a peak where more delicate samples are concerned and at the midway point of the year, Bearcubs is a name that looks to be set on dominating the space’s upper echelon for the foreseeable future.
