Justin Bieber and Jack Ü’s ‘Where Are Ü Now’ music video is here and the art exceeds the hype
The visuals for “Where Are Ü Now” have been the most highly anticipated of any dance record this year — and for good reason. Rather than your standard music video production, Jack Ü and JB have delivered an innovative, but more importantly, engaging product.
Development of the project was centered around participation from fans and upcoming artists — they were invited to an open gallery, where they would treat stills of Bieber as their canvases. As flocks came to make their mark on the video, this process too was documented. The final video for “Where Are Ü Now” is a portrayal of both the fans’ involvement and those results.
Scenes rapidly flash art drawn by all who took their creativity to the scene, adding colorful and captivating flare to Justin busting moves to his hit collaboration. While the alluring art scenes take center stage, the creative process is the storyline.
