Once in a while, an artist emerges seemingly out of thin air and hits a new calibre of energy. Though not much is known about Daydreamer other than that his real name is Chris, the newcomer’s latest points to the start of something special for the future sound waves. Behind the wheel of Madeon‘s emotive album track ‘Innocence,’ solid melodic progressions meet futuristic trap energy, breathing an intense new lease of life into the already accomplished original. We may be missing the context of this fresh faced talent, but with something of this quality, we can handle a little anonymity.
