Ratatat are ‘Abrasive’

Brooklyn’s indie electronic jam band, Ratatat, return with the second single from their forthcoming album ‘Magnifique.’ The second slice from their fifth full length, “Abrasive” is anything but what the name would suggest. Moving at a snails pace compared to “Cream on Chrome,” the LP’s second single is easily identifiable as a Ratatat jam. The duo’s signature distorted guitar wails and dreamy synths shift and buzz under the track’s lo-fi facade and, although, it may not be their most memorable release, new Ratatat is never a bad thing.
