Solomun’s new track ‘Zora’ is 10 minutes of deep house magic

Solomun does not take his productions lightly. From past remixes of Lana Del Rey and Foals, to a more recent take on Paul Kalkbrenner, his approach is always methodical and sincere. Back on original duties for the first time in months, the Hamburg producer has presented the title track from his upcoming EP Zora.

“Zora” bears the kind of cinematic hallmarks we’ve come to expect from his work, from glamorous ’80s pads to a stirring string progression. The song meanders along quite patiently, building drawn-out peaks and troughs over a long-but-rewarding ten minute time span. It’s the kind of track that feels right at place amid a multi-hour Solomun performance, when, in the waning hours of the night, a bit of magic seems to slip from the speakers in the form of a gem like this one.

Release Date: July TBA (Diynamic)
